Publisher's Note: Error in the Section "Pathogen Plasticity"

Posted by PLoS_Pathogens on 14 Jan 2013 at 18:12 GMT

There was an error in the penultimate sentence of the first paragraph of the section "Pathogen Plasticity". http://plospathogens.org/...
The sentence "Although less studied, Trypanosoma brucei is the only Apicomplexa where DNA methylation has been detected, but the significance of these epigenetic modifications in parasite cell-cycle regulation remains unexplored [18]." should instead read, "Although less studied, Trypanosoma brucei is one of the few Protozoan parasites where DNA methylation has been detected, but the significance of these epigenetic modifications in parasite cell-cycle regulation remains unexplored [18]."
