Influenza virus particles
This negative-stained transmission electron micrograph (TEM) depicts the ultrastructural details of a number of influenza virus particles, or "virions." A member of the taxonomic family Orthomyxoviridae, the influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA organism (see Nelson et al).
